Managing Broker, Rolanda Carriere

I got my real estate license in 2002 and have loved every minute of my real estate career. I have experienced buyers’ markets, sellers’ markets, the mortgage crisis, short sales, the government-owned property craze, and everything in-between.

My passion for real estate stems from my passion for community and for construction. I was born in Seattle and have called the Central District, Rainier Beach, and Hillman City neighborhoods “home”. I received my BA in Business with a minor in English from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma and have a certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington.

I learned early that having the best resources and partners on my team is essential to managing transactions and delivering the type of customer service my clients enjoy and deserve. In the role of advocate, I fight for my clients and their transaction as if it were my own, but also work very collaboratively with all parties to the transaction. I believe that knowledge is power and provide my clients with all the information they need and present all the options so they always know the steps in front of them and what roads they can take.

I am not afraid to let my clients know my concerns or encouraging them to walk away from a bad deal. When appropriate, I will also encourage my clients to act quickly if it is in their best interest to do so. Great communication is one of the cornerstones of my business and I pride myself on finding how each of my clients prefers to communicate and adjusting my style to fit their needs.

I am on the board for the Central Area Development Association (CDA) as the vice president, a former board member of Community Capital Development and a board member on the Northwest Independent Brokers Association board. I have been recognized by Seattle Magazine as one of the top agents in the Seattle area for multiple years. This is a distinction I am proud of as it is determined based on the feedback of my clients.

Those who know me know I love to travel and enjoy cooking and entertaining-when I have time. I can’t say I love to run, but I try to commit to running several times a week. I’m a proud Seattleite. I take great pride in being part of the Pacific Northwest – its beauty, sports teams and the great organizations and companies that have helped shape the area. I hope I have the opportunity to work with you!
